Pakistan Flood Appeal

September 2011 - Emergency Appeal

26 September 2011

What's happened?

Once again Pakistan has been hit by devastating floods. Over 5.4 million people have been affected in Sindh province, southern Punjab and north-eastern Balochistan. Already 248 people have died, and communities that had barely recovered from the devastating floods of last year have seen their homes and livelihoods destroyed a second time.

Anglican Missions (AMB) has launched an appeal to assist relief efforts in this region of Pakistan and will be channelling funds to church partners in Pakistan.

Individuals can contribute either direct to AMB (cheque, internet banking, via the website) or can donate via their parish earmarked “Pakistan Flood Appeal”.
