Emergency Appeal - Vanuatu volcano October 2017

Anglican Missions has launched an Emergency Appeal in support of the Anglican Church of Melanesia (ACoM) to assist in its work in helping the evacuated residents of Ambae Island, Vanuatu. ACoM asked Anglican Missions to assist with the immediate response and we joined the Anglican Board of Missions (Australia), Anglican Overseas Aid (Australia) and Episcopal Relief and Development (USA) in providing funds to support the Church in its initial response to the evacuation. 
Funding from Anglican Missions has been used to procure emergency response items including food and water and to help equip churches and church facilities as they are used as evacuation centres.
