$11,920 has been donated to our Lenten Appeal so far, most of this has been from our brilliant individual supporters and a few eager parishes. This is a great start to the appeal, thanks to those of you who have donated already. We leave you with a short story from Mike, our Church Support Officer, which ties in nicely with the days ahead. link»
Pray for Bishop Azad Marshall as he travels to and from the country and works with his priests; for wisdom and guidance for him. Also pray for good relations between the Church of Iran and her neighbours. link»
Music and singing is at the very heart of Christians, especially those in the Pacific. And so when I go to Samoa next month I will take a guitar and lots of spare strings. I like to leave both strings and guitar with a local church. Does anyone if they have a guitar hiding in the cupboard or under the bed unused? If so, would you kindly donate it to Anglican Missions so I can take it over there? Do you have lots of guitar strings which you have accumulated over the years? I would love to take them as well. These gifts are so so appreciated by the local church musicians. I thank you in anticipation! - Mike (PS I need them by April 2nd) more»

Pray for students around the world, and in particular the ones at the Episcopal Technological & Vocational Training Center. Give thanks for schools that are endorsing technology education, that these students are educated in current technology used in the workplace, and these current skills can assist in finding employment. link»
