    THANK YOU to all who have donated to this year's Lenten Appeal supporting three projects - two, as is traditional, for the Episcopal Diocese of Jerusalem and the third for the Diocese of Mara in Tanzania. Funds raised as at 9 April are just over $33,000 ($11,000 for each project). This appeal is now closed although donations are still welcome up until end July 2020. more»

    "Lockdown here in Northern Uganda seems relaxed compared to what’s happening in New Zealand. We can move around, buy food and bike where we want"...but if you are poor it is tough and if you are not able to work there is no help from the government.
