The hostel has reopening from the end of September for half of their students as the immediate area in front of St John’s School was dry enough for 9th and 10th grade classes to resume. In the Mirpurkhas region, and beyond, extreme monsoon rains and widespread flooding have caused havoc in the area. The grounds of the School and Colleges which the hostel students attend are flooded out, and so opening these will be delayed until the water can be drained. However our fundraising for the Hostel appeal is going well, thanks to your generosity. more»
Following the massive explosion at Beirut's port in August, the Anglican Archbishop in Jerusalem, the Most Reverend Suheil Dawani called out to Anglicans around the world for help.
