The Golden Oldies Mission to Fiji is happening again this Saturday 14 September – Tuesday 24 September. As in previous years, this trip is non-denominational and open to all New Zealand seniors (the oldest last year was 89 years old!).
Participants have the invaluable opportunity to learn how the Church is supporting local mission, and meet the people involved from the villages and local communities. This year they will visit an orphanage, a school offering second-chance education for students from squatter settlements, a small medical/emergency centre and maternity hospital, and a retirement home in the WW2 barracks.
The tour has limited numbers and is fully escorted by experienced leaders. To know more, or request their Mission Pack please contact the GOM Secretary Rev. Wendy Robinson, 022-083-1058 or email: email@example.com. Also visit their website: goldenoldiesmission.com
And see this year’s poster.
Golden Oldies Missions are supported by NZ Church Missionary Society (NZCMS); Anglican Missions Board; Anglican Church of Polynesia; Archer: offering boutique lifestyle villages and homes; Archer Memorial Baptist Home Trust-Kingdom Ministries Fund; Croft Design and Print; and Fiji Airwa.
