The Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby, is inviting Christians around the world to pray as one for people to know Jesus Christ. Jesus calls us to be the light of the World. See Thy Kingdom Come website and add your light to the map of the world.
The Very Revd. Bob Key is the Anglican Communion lead for Thy Kingdom Come https://www.thykingdomcome.global/ the Archbishop of Canterbury’s prayer initiative that people should pray for their friends, families, communities and countries to come to know Jesus. This annual event runs from Ascension to Pentecost and involved 85 countries last year. A variety of resources are available on the website.
The Very Revd. Bob has preached and lectured all over the world, from Sydney to Siberia and has taught in colleges and seminaries in India, Asia and the USA.
And in March/April this year he visited us here in New Zealand meeting with many people in different places and venues to hear about our church, share his wisdom, and promote this prayer initiative. Photo: Rev Bob with host Michael Hartfield, Operations and Projects Office, Anglican Missions Office

One aspect of this prayer focus is to identify 5 people to pray for. At a recent event at Feilding Parish, everyone made bracelets out of strips of coloured cord in which each person tied 5 knots reminding them of the 5 people to pray for.
Please pray too for this whole prayer movement – see our 2018 Partners in Prayer diary, day 30.
