    Since the Christchurch Earthquake on 22nd February, the Anglican Mission Board has coordinated the receipt of international donations to the Bishop's Emergency Appeal. Donations have come from USA, the UK, Canada, Australia, South Korea and Monaco. So far the total transferred is $118,885. link»

    I have had the opportunity of spending some time with Bishop John Gray at Te Waipounamu Hui Amorangi headquarters at 290 Ferry Rd yesterday.     The Archbishops and Bishops of the province have launched an appeal to help the Diocese of Christchurch and Te Hui Amorangi Te Waipounamu in their ministry, care and support to their people and parishes and communities affected by the 22 February Christchurch earthquake. AMB have offered to receive funds on behalf of our overseas friends and partners for this Appeal. These will then be forwarded to the Bishop's Emergency Appeal. more»

    Record breaking monsoon rains have killed at least 1000 people and left tens of thousands marooned and homeless in the north west of Pakistan. Over one million people have been affected by the worst flooding on record. Officials fear the worst is yet to come if the flooding hits more populated areas and disease breaks out. The full extent of the damage remains unclear as many areas are inaccessible. The people of Pakistan urgently need outside assistance. ACT Alliance has an initial 3 month appeal for US$1.6 million but more will be needed. Please give generously. more»

    Anglican Missions on behalf of the Anglican Church in Aotearoa, New Zealand and Polynesia undertook an appeal through Parishes and this website. By December 2009 the appeal reached a record amount for Anglican Missions - just over $100,000.00 has been raised.
